Ingenico appoints new leadership team

Ingenico announced a sweeping change to its senior team on Tuesday, installing a new chief technology officer, chief product officer, chief revenue officer and chief customer‑experience officer in a single move that takes effect immediately.
The appointments follow a €150 million capital injection secured last month. The firm says the funding will reshape its balance sheet and support the next growth phase.
All four leaders will answer to Floris de Kort, the chief executive who replaced Laurent Blanchard in November. He has been steering the organization through a broader restructuring that includes board changes and cost‑saving measures.
Tech chief brings two‑decade software pedigree
Former NCR and Gartner executive Paul Gardiner steps into the chief technology officer role. With more than 25 years in software engineering, Gardiner most recently oversaw technology at NCR Atleos before the company split.
Gardiner replaces Patrick Blanc, who left in February for rival Flywire. His mandate includes setting the technology roadmap and supervising engineering squads across global operations.

Product, revenue and customer experience roles refreshed
Joining the product side, Maria Parpou arrives from Mastercard, where she spent four years as executive vice president of Mastercard payment gateway services. Earlier stints include senior strategy work at Eurobank, a 15‑year tenure at Barclays and a brief period at Paysafe.
Parpou will lead the global product organisation, shaping product strategy and setting the development roadmap to drive innovation. She succeeds Erik Vlugt, who departed in July after three years at the helm.
On the revenue front, the firm named Ieuan Owen chief revenue officer. Owen’s résumé lists senior positions at Xplor, Monitor Deloitte, Royal Mail and Worldpay, giving him a broad view of commercial strategy in the payments arena.
His charge is to deepen client relationships and expand commercial opportunities worldwide. The role is expected to align sales, partnerships and market expansion under a unified vision.
Rounding out the quartet, Oliver Moore becomes chief customer‑experience officer. The former Colt Technology Services executive will oversee the new customer‑experience journey, aiming to raise the bar on support and end‑to‑end excellence globally.

The four appointments were announced together and are effective immediately. They replace Patrick Blanc, Erik Vlugt and other departing executives who left between February and July.
In practice, this reshuffle means Ingenico now has a single point of contact for each major function. Decision‑making should become faster and internal friction lower.
Clients may notice quicker rollout of new features as product and technology teams work more closely together, while sales and support units gain clearer direction from their respective heads.
Founded in 1980, the paytech supplies point‑of‑sale terminals, processing services and digital commerce platforms to merchants worldwide. The new leadership structure is designed to support its ambition to grow market share in both legacy and emerging payment channels.
